This Awesome Trick Will Get You Over 100,000 EXP From A Single Lucky Egg In Pokémon GO

Do you want to level up faster than you ever dreamed was possible? Wanna be the very best, like no one ever was? How about this; would you like to gain over 100,000 EXP from a single lucky egg?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, you’re in luck, because there’s a neat little trick that you can start using right now that will certainly boost your level like crazy.

The trick is simple; you’re going to evolve a bunch-load of Pidgeys, Caterpies, Weedles, Rattatas, and Zubats while biting down on your lucky egg. But this is a little bit different to how you’re used to doing it, so pay attention for the next part.

Instead of sitting and watching the evolution animation for every, single, Pokémon (which takes approximately 20 seconds per evolution), you’re going to close and re-open the Pokémon GO app.

Assuming you’ve got a phone that was made in the last three years, you’ll be able to get back into the game in a much shorter amount of time than the evolution animation would take. Thus, you’ll be halving (or quartering) the time spent per evolution, which will lead to more evolutions per lucky egg.

While this trick isn’t exactly new (people have been doing it for quite a while now), this is the first time somebody has taken the time to give an in-depth explanation of the method on YouTube, which is always helpful.

Personally, I’ve found that I can close and re-open the Pokémon GO app and begin evolving a new Pokémon in roughly 12 seconds, which means I can evolve 5 Pokémon a minute, or 150 Pokémon per lucky egg. This equals 150,000 EXP. Not bad, ehh?

Like I mentioned earlier, the effectiveness of this trick does depend on the phone you’re using. Newer phones are much faster and are able to load the Pokémon GO app in a matter of seconds, while some other phones (like the one my Sister uses), can take 30+ seconds to open the app, which renders the trick pointless.
